diversity

Diversity emerges from the differences in expressions and lived experiences of people of various ethnoracial identities, sexual orientations, abilities, gender identities, ages, and/or socio-economic situations.

Equity is the process of removing systemic barriers and disparities in opportunities for historically and/or currently underrepresented and/or marginalized people and groups to provide fair treatment and outcomes.

Inclusion necessitates building welcoming spaces where everyone is treated equitably and respected allowing for full participation and opportunities to succeed for all.

we break down complex
subjects so we can all join
the conversation

let’s cut the academic jargon

Our mission here at snstve is to allow information on diversity, equity, and inclusion practices to be accessed, understood, and used to the greatest extent possible by all people. Oftentimes DEI consulting is accompanied by large fees which can be unaffordable to small businesses and low income individuals. This creates even more barriers to having these important conversations about how we can transform our workplaces and lives into spaces oriented around justice and liberation.

transformative

we use a transformative justice to create a non-judgemental space for community learning that does not reinforce or perpetuate violence through social vigilantism.

intersectional

intersectionality is at the core of all of our discussions. we understand that systems of inequality intersect to create positions of both privilege and discrimination.

interdependent

we build networks of communal support that allow us to depend upon one another through decentralizing access to dei education.

how can we help you?
